Weirdo likes to imagine that they have a relationship with the person who originally posted the screenshot with the messages. They’re asking the real person to engage in their fantasy by breaking up with another (probably) real person because weirdo’s chatbot of them said they would.

F/O in this case is fictional other, a play on S/O for significant other. Yumeship is a dumb word for jerking/schlicking fantasy stuff.

    Translation:

Hey, can you break up with your girlfriend? I have a pretend relationship with you and it makes me genuinely uncomfortable to know you have a real-life partner. Also, please delete photos of yourself. I don’t want other people to have pictures of my ‘fictional other’. Thank you!

P.s. the AI of your character that I believe I’m in a fictional relationship with said you would do these things.

That’s a pretty succinct description of AI. We are required to use Copilot at work (not kidding) and I always have to remind myself that AI use language the way demons do in Frieren - they don’t have intent or intelligence really but use it in an approximation of language. It never really means anything.

You’re not alone. I’m 60, I try to keep up, if only for entertainment’s sake, but stuff like this just goes right past me.

Alright, 40s here, I’ll try. I assume OP is some kind of social media figure with a following. “Ship” means having a parasocial or imaginary relationship with a public figure, like a kpop star. I think fandoms often “ship” imaginary charactors together, like 2 charactors who are not in love in the original material of an anime.

So she’s saying break up with your girlfriend because I imagine us together. Take down your photos because I’m jealous your other fans will look.

Then she’s talking about a parasocial relationship she has with an ai chatbot she has trained upon OP’s likeness and data. She’s saying her chatbot version of OP told her to go ahead and contact OP with these psycho demands.

        How did I do?

Remember Molly Ringwald’s stalker? Well in this case this person had an AI using this person’s faked voice pretend they were in a relationship. He wanted to tell her to break up with her partner and delete photos of herself so he could be the only one to see her. The AI told him to tell her this directly, and he did. Dude needs help.

That’s it, I’m officially too old to know what “it” is. This is just gibberish and I can’t understand what they are even trying to say. I can’t even tell if the text is from a supposed human or Ai.

I feel endangered and disgusted(?) that I don’t know half the words in that post.

It looks like a really good trolling shitpost, or like the schizo ramblings of the kind of people who actually ship themselves with celebrities or send threats to authors once their “head-canons” get demolished.

I see we are now at the stage that the DEEPLY mentally ill are adopting new and “exciting” products. I remember when DEEPLY mentally ill would use MySpace to get thier fascinations, then face book to stalk the one girl that was nice to them in high school, then we had Twitter stalkers… So on so forth.

The question is, do we let them continue?

i don’t know what yumeship is [edit. looked it up it’s a kind of fictosexuality. like, crush on a fictional being] (ship makes sense), but these messages are awful. if you have a public facing contact (and you should) in the performing arts world, you will get them though. good luck!
