This. The actual tool is dead simple, just a plastic bar with a magnet and a couple of little plastic nubbins to help line it up in the right place.

…It’s also only $15 on Amazon, so it should pay for itself pretty quickly

The actual tool uses two magnets to unlock the mechanism and allow you to slide the tab.

On the wider ones, the heel of your shoe to the center top of the clear plastic will cause it to bow and open up.

Looks like a flathead screwdriver would do it. If you don’t mind breaking it.

I’d use a grenade but you would have to have a grenade to get the grenade, first the scissors now this.

Personally, I like a Halligan tool for this kind of work. I’ve opened a few doors and broken some windows with one. Never leave home without your Irons.

Most optimal would be a hammer but anything from dropping onto ground to using your teeth.

Hammer or sometimes the keys to these are just a pattern of magnets.
