Wasn’t Admiral Patrick one of the devs that got caught upvoting all the Zionist propoganda posts like a year and a half ago? I wished I saved that thread. None of the most egregious Zionists accounts are on the ban list even though they are very abrasive and political extremists. I wouldn’t be surprised if the rest was just a cover for that.

Using the word Zionist or the Epstein Class hides your comment :/ and I swear every account that’s critical of Israel is on that list.

Not to speak for them, but my understanding is they abhor all calls to violence… And paradoxically, supporting Palestinian freedom is maybe a call to violence?

I don’t want to make claims that don’t exist, but that’s how I could explain them blocking statements like this.

And to be clear, yes, free Palestine!

I’m not on the list. But I’m banned from Reddit, so I got that going for me, which is nice.

Let’s start a new list called the “would have been on the first list if they knew about me” list

Being trans, being leftist, opposing genocide, demanding consequences for crimes against humanity.

      You know, “violent extremist” stuff.

I still wonder what it is I said/posted that did it. Was it the Luigi pictures? The guillotine images? Or my relentless disdain for all things Microslop?

Yeah, how do I get on that list? Seems like the hot list right now.

Is there like, a website, or a form? Do I need to fail an IQ test? You know, like cops can’t score greater than 80 on an IQ test.

I still haven’t seen the movie, but I’ve seen a synopsis of the movie.

        I am so disappointed.

        But I’m hopeful.

Because what I really want to see is part two of this movie where a random group of like a hundred people get one and they know it will grant one wish and what wishes they make and what the consequences of a hundred random people across the world having a single wish granted all at the same time or within like the same few weeks.

Mothers grieving over their dead children who wished to be able to fly, but never thought about landing.

Competition from 10 or 15 people who wish to be the richest person in the world one after the other and having their wish granted only to be killed a day later by the next person who wishes to be the richest person in the world and having all of their riches transferred to that person.

People wishing for magic and being haunted by demons.

People wishing that their lost loved ones would come back to life and having the undead rise.

There is so much potential in this concept if I just hope somebody has the balls to actually reach out and go for it because it would be such a good movie.

I still haven’t seen the movie, but I’ve seen a synopsis of the movie.

So, I feel like they leaned a bit hard on jump-scares to deliver the horror element. But the Wishing Willow is really just a vehicle for the plot, it’s not important to the plot. The story is about male loneliness and youthful impatience and not being able to see past your own unhappiness to recognize the importance of other people.

And it’s also about Inde Navarrette hitting it out of the fucking park with her acting.

Don’t get hung up on the magical realism of the MacGuffin that kicks off the movie’s 2nd Act. If you enjoy a good popcorn horror/thriller and don’t mind liberal use of gross-out material, it’s a stellar film.

Adding to this: the lighting work was fantastic. Lots of darkness and silhouettes really added to the creepiness.
