The bottom teeth showing isn’t a strong indicator, some people do that even with a real smile, but the eyes are a giveaway.
As an autistic person I used something similar to learn how to smile.
Don’t have kids, don’t want 'em, but what works for me is imagining my cats doing literally anything ☺️
If my kid does something cool I do a “impressed” face
