Many people do those same things for the attention and acceptance of others around them. I’d say more people do that when it comes to things like make up and dressing well. Human are social creatures and want to be accepted by others.
Depends. If employees lost productivity due to medical leave, then it makes sense. It’s one of the biggest parts of why women in the US (and around the world) are generally paid less, because they have children and are often out of the workforce for a period of time, ie lack of productivity.
Even in countries that allow for parental leave for both parents, you see couples still doing work arounds to keep at least one parent (often the male) in the workforce so they don’t lose out on their career path.
Same thing has happened to say millenials with the 2008 financial crisis. They lost productivity and were stunted in their career paths due to it, and the same thing is/has happened due to COVID.

32·18 days agoNah, your tests aren’t normal. You likely have messed up things with too much caffeine, too much stress, and very likley are overweight and have sleep apnea.
Get a sleep study done, exercise more and work on healthy sleep habits and you probably will fix things. Very few people need to chug 2+ energy drinks a day to feel ‘tired’.
So where is that going to be? If the rest of the world doesn’t run that way (which isn’t possible), what do you think happens then? When sea rise lifts things a couple of meters, billions are displaced. You aren’t simply going to put them somewhere else. Europe currently is struggling with climate and war migrants, the US is the same.
I mean the ability to survive it will be based on where you are located. And for the billions that are unable to survive it, they will either start wars with those who can, or will die in the process, or both.

Yeah, clearly not a lot of photographers in here.
