When you thought Netanyahu is the problem, but then check other Israeli political parties, and turns out he’s among the least extreme. And has better approval ratings than Hitler had towards the end of the war.
Even Gadi Eisenkot - Israel’s most likely next prime minister, whose party is apparently centrist - says any plans of a two-state solution are, quote, ‘delusions’, and openly supports the so-called settlers.

Its also a case of polling Germans under the Nazis government vs what their true thoughts are.
The reality is that German support for the Nazis policies rarely went over the 35-40% level. The majority were just forced to go along with it.
Still, just like with the Germans, it will be a hell of a job rabilitating that society.

The reason Israelis don’t support the existence of Palestine is because they are actively colonizing it through genocidal settler-colonialism. The reason Palestinians do not support the existence of Israel is because Israel is a genocidal settler-colonial project erasing them from existence. These are not equal in any capacity, the simple fix is a dissolution of the genocidal apartheid state and the recognition of Palestine as a state.
