I put my pc together back in 2019 with the plan to upgrade individual parts over the next 5 years. Time rolls around to get a graphics card and they skyrocket. Time rolls around to extend the ram and they skyrocket. I’m so fucking pissed that this extremely reasonable and well thought out plan that I managed to make, one of very few that I managed to make before getting medicated, has been upended by forces that are both far beyond my control and also stupid.

I rebuilt my entire setup less than a year before the spike. Also pre-ordered the Steam Deck. I regularly count my blessings with those. I realize just how lucky my timing really was.
