Everyone see the problem now?
For those who don’t get the point, one of the top posts on all of Lemmy at the moment is doing this same thing. Mocking a (shitty) man by saying he “looks trans” now. That’s not ok.
Since it’s one of the most upvoted things on Lemmy at the moment it seems like an awful lot of people here don’t understand that that isn’t alright, so I’m trying to highlight it for them.

This was a viral stunt that unfortunately, sparked a lot of theories about Jim Carrey that some people still believe.
The point was up there in the words.
How about this one? lol she does look super fucked up. Maybe it’s ok to say that makes her look trans?
No? Because that’s discriminatory and demeaning to an entire group of people? Maybe we shouldn’t celebrate doing that then.
Sort of looks bad for that to be one of the most popular posts of the entire day on all of Lemmy. Right?
