If anything, Biden Derangement Syndrome was absolutely a thing. MAGAts were so incredibly panicked about Biden when he was an entirely milquetoast, middle-of-the road Democrat. Do even they argue that Trump is just another Republican? I can’t see how anyone could.
They act that way any time a Democrat is president. They’re terrified the Dem will do a good job and leave a good legacy and positive reputation, so they pretty much flip out. They did it over Clinton - spread and amplified all sorts of rumors then investigated him for years until they finally found something to impeach him for. And then, Obama, obviously.
