I don’t think so. It’s just a normal custom ROM, like Lineage or CrDroid. But they implement these features for non-Pixel devices which is great.

I just did some tests and found out it’s mtalk.google.com for me at least.
I whitelisted this domain and then I was able to receive notifications on my bank app.
Also I allowed Notifications permission on Play Services app. But I can tell for sure the only allowed google domain was mtalk.google.com, I checked the logs.
Can you check if mtalk.google.com is on your block lists?
My case I’m not using a Google app, it’s just my bank app, so it might be different? I’ll do some more tests later to make sure.
EDIT:
I found this post on /e/OS forum: https://community.e.foundation/t/what-are-mtalk-google-com-and-www-googleapis-com-serving-for/4788/5
According to /e/OS support:
mtalk.google.com is needed by GCM (cloud messaging). For those using adblockers it was always recommended to whitelist it (not block it), otherwise one would have problems with push messaging
You should have made it clear in the title. The title is the most important part and you’re literally saying you’ve made LLM stop “bullshitting”. Pretentious phrase to draw everyone attention. Then in the body you correct everybody assumption. Dirty move.
TLDR.
So you basically solved humanity problems with LLMs, you should sell it to NVIDIA and be rich, no more hallucination.
/e/OS is just LineageOS with their own customization and integration.
There’s nothing really ground breaking about “degoogling” on /e/OS.
There’s this “tracker blocking” feature they provide but you’ll achieve the very same with any DNS Filter. And I think in /e/OS case you can’t customize the block lists.
They also provide an app store which integrates F-droid and Play Store together, you can just use Aurora + F-Droid on LineageOS.
Not sure if it’s really worth it, I tried here on my phone and I didn’t see anything interesting and different from what you’d achieve with other custom ROMs.
Maybe their support will be better since they compromise on maintaining the OS and fixing issues.
