The version number comes after. Obviously OS/2 also had version numbers, but the 2 was not part of the version number.

For fucks sake! No it’s not “classic Mac OS”, it’s Mac OS. It was never named classic. Just because Apple fucks up doesn’t change the name of the original Mac OS.
And no OS X did not maintain the same version number for decades. It was introduced as OS X 1.0, 10 is not a version number, it’s part of the name like with OS/2 where the number is also not a version number but is part of the name, and describes something completely different, namely that it was meant as the default OS for IBM PS/2 computers.

Sorry for the rant, but the stupidity of Apple removing the X from the name and not distinguishing properly between the original Mac OS and the new macOS is just such a piss poor decision IMO.

Considering spending on military adds zero value to society, Russian society already had negative real GDP last year.
Meaning the civil economy to lift the military spending was already declining last year, and the ability for Russia to keep military spending high has been constantly declining for a while now.
The Russian government is currently at wild over-expenditure, and the Russian economy has shown no interest in buying federal bonds despite 4 recent attempts to sell them! Giving the Russian government few options to finance the spending, other than increasing taxes further.
The amount of economic gymnastics the Russian federal government has performed the past few years is astonishing, probably worthy of a gold medal in international economics, but the tricks have been exhausted, and every segment of the Russian economy is drained to near bankruptcy, and some of them even beyond, but bankruptcies have been avoided because Putin has made it illegal to declare companies of key industries bankrupt!!
But Putin insists on keeping the military spending way above what Russia can afford, just like the Soviet Union did to compete with USA. And just like last time, we are seeing Russia go bankrupt and collapse as a society exactly like the Soviet Union did.

After reading the entire article, it seems pretty clear that this is an insanely stupid decision. In 6 months Fedorov has been behind no less than 20 successful strategies against Russia. with the above mentioned being only 2 of them!!
All because a general is pissed that Fedorov wants to modernize some of the old post Russian structures, and make them NATO like, in part to prevent corruption!!
