Probably the same patterns the book Democracy in Chains discusses. The same history since the first hoarding and the power/wealth inequalities that came with it. The wealth pays for the armies and to protect the wealthy. Those with the money and power win and write the rules and history. The systems say, “believe us we know what’s right”. The problems are caused by the wealth inequality, but blamed on minorities and changing too fast can’t deal with it, and only they have the solution, so dig in deeper and accept these new rules on free speech and protests against the ruler. Usa has the nazi ice abduct, abuse and put people in concentration camps that make the wealthy owners even richer, just like happened in olden days, already forgot, or some want to repeat it.

This is how those with the power have done it for ages and want it to remain. Scapegoat minorities and immigrants for all issues, make people angry, offer only hope of fix is to double down and be more harsh, austerity, sacrifice for country, etc, which gets more people fearful and go against what actually works better for healthy humanity, and for the dictatorship. Look at other current countries and in the past, and how maga has caused regression on human health and democracy measures. It’s a pattern visible if you’re awake.

There will always be violence as long as so many are stuck in supernatural systems, that have to defeat the other supernatural systems, or variations of their own. Everyone can see what works best for healthcare, work/life balance and quality of life. It’s not what russia, argentina and maga is doing. More restrictions and harshness is the opposite of what successful countries do and it’s obvious in data, but all these people keep going for the right wing propaganda and ignore the data on how to make a healthy civilization. More of the controlling, just obey us, keep people in scarcity and stress so they don’t realize how much the system screws them over and reject it for what’s healthier for humanity,
