it’s not useless, but it is very close to it.

there’s very little that voting will do, but it’s easy if you live in a liberal enough place, so you might as well use it to write in leftist candidates on your ballot.

There’s indeed benefits about this now that I think about it again.

        1. The party can gauge it’s local strength

        2. A higher score could make people interested in the party.

agreed, but on the flip side, it identify targets for the dnc to suppress and this is A LOT more likely to happen since leftists parties cannot officially operate in most liberal jurisdictions as a party (because of the dnc).

So i’ll need to compare the potential benefits to the potential downsides.

It’s still a benefit either way; worse case scenario is that the DNC has to burn resources to cancel your vote out in the next election. Lol

It took me a while to vote last week because I went on the last day of early voting and even then it still was 60-90 minutes. If I had gone even a day earlier this would have been much lower, and despite that fact I’m still fine with the amount of time I “wasted”.

I’ve wasted far more time on far less productive activities before, and I’m probably going to do so in the future as well. I can spare an hour and a half on the off chance that my vote actually helps something.

If it’s useless, why do people have to die to get it, and why do people in power try to suppress it?

You missed people trying to strip people off voting rights recently? Or Jim Crow era voting laws? Have ya not read much history or something? Not pay attention to voting rights now?

Well, if you are doing better things with the time, then likely true.
If not, the things in the previous comment still apply.
